Time-travelling Aristotle had a similar reaction. In his final treatise, the Augh, he wrote: “Okay, I can accept the mass production of goods, the ability to keep house and run an economy without slaves, and even the whole science by empirical observation and experimentatioin thing. But by Zeus, Abe is not supposed to be in the car with Marge and Maggie!”
Abe is the most prolific time traveller of all – I mean, he’s hung out with Bill and Ted and Captain Kirk. I think he’d have gotten used to this sort of thing by now.

Based on the final panel, I can’t tell: is Lincoln visiting 1990, or 2009?
But Abe has embraced hair products, judging from his minor Morrissey like quiff.
I love that Abe put on a tux before coming to the future. You can tell he really wanted to make a good impression on us.
I would think that Lincoln would be interest in how Newark became a hub city, as well as the whole Dallas-Fort Worth situation…
Will the new Simpsons intro produce the same reaction as New Coke did, with a grassroots effort to bring back the old intro, a boycott even?
Gasp! They changed the Simpsons opening?! Maybe that means other changes are on the way; like the show will become funny again!
… nah, that’s asking too much.
Jim, let’s not lose our heads, here.

[...] Did you know that for the first time in 20 years, The Simpsons changed their opening sequence? Yeah I can’t believe it either! [...]
