Reminds me of my college roomie. He had a line on a great job in Dover. He went to Delaware for the interview; unfortunately the company was in New jersey.
As a native of the Greater Portland (Maine) Area, this does my heart proud. New England’s very own Red-Headed Stepchild. Well, at least we’re better than Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

No joke–I got off a plane in Portland, Oregon from New Jersey some years back, only to see a bunch of airline officials huddled around a crying child–she had been put on the plane to visit her grandparents in Portland, Maine.

I used to go to summer camp near Portland (Maine). On at least one occassion, some campers flew to Oregon by mistake.
