Is this something I would need a TV to understand?

    (I kid! Nice comic!)

BC is set in a distant, post-apocalyptic future.

One nice thing I can say about B.C. since Johnny Hart’s death is that the characters aren’t so super-Christy (thanks, Bill Maher!) all the time.

Losing Italian-caricature Anno Domini and Tonto-esque Conahonty would also go in the “improvements” column in my book.

Al, that actually makes perfect sense.

I sent this cartoon with the subject, “Happy Easter” to my dumb-ass brother who sometimes sends me “inspirational / religious” crap, and he wrote back” “Thanks, same to you and yours”. What’s the use?

The Wikipedia entry on Medium Large claims that this strip is the “most popular” ML comic. It’s a classic, no question, but I’m curious as to how that conclusion was reached.

(Also, I’m pleasantly surprised that after all this time the article is still there. Wikipedia editors are notorious for almost immediately nominating webcomics articles, even some of the most widely-read and cited ones, for “speedy deletion” due to “lack of notability” and “fancruft.” But they apparently have no problem with articles about what Greedo or Wesley Crusher or Galadriel had for breakfast last Tuesday.)

I’d be more likely to read this version of the BC strip than the actual one …

Jimmy Joe, is it possible your brother was saying “Well, fuck you, too”? In a, you know, Christian and brotherly way?

Ces, hope the death threats have petered off to more manageable levels.

If I had a nickel for every jaded comic strip fan that I sold on Medium Large with this very strip

…well, I’d have a fistful of IOUs because all of my friends are broke.
