This repeat is timely given the recent debut of the Archie “what if” storyline in which he marries Veronica or, alternatively, Betty.
Given the shape of that hotdog Jughead’s eating, I doubt he and Archie will be caring much one way or another shortly anyways.
Yeah, there’s no subtlety whatsoever about that hotdog.
Sometimes a hotdog is just a hotdog.
I think this is from the “What If?” alternate continuity in which Jughead eats hotdogs rather than hamburgers.

p, are you saying Jughead eats only hamburgers? Are you thinking of Wimpy? Jughead eats everything. Except women.
Almost everything. I remember the occasional story where Jug recoils at the prospect of eating only vegetarian health food. One story was from the early seventies, where he considers joining a commune. Another, from the eighties, sees a flawed Jughead clone snatch a burger away from Jughead Prime, admonishing him that he should only eat sesame seeds and alfalfa sprouts.
trust me, man, i used to have a subscription to Jughead comics. not hamburgers exclusively, he’s been known to scarf pizza, but his favorite is definitely burgers, particularly from the little diner they went to. he did have a dog named Hot Dog, though, with it’s own comic.
