I think it would be better if the speakers were switched, so that the guy was blaming the snake puppet for its drinking.
… Or has that already been done? And that’s the point? I’m not up on my hand-puppeteer cartoons.
Gotta tell ya, the quick sketch about a puppet that kills sounds pretty good to me….
I think it could be turned into a major motion picture. A franchise, even.
Heee. I’m reminded of a pic on the Nodwick site ( http://ps238principal.livejournal.com/113843.html ) about Nyquil:”The nighttime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, how the hell did I get on my kitchen floor medicine”. Come to think of it, given the alcohol content of cough medicines, that strip fits in perfectly.

Also, in honor of your “Conversations with Dad” segment, I have to mention that my father swore by marmalade + peach ice cream with a chaser of bourbon during his colds.
Me, I skip the middleman and chase the bourbon with bourbon. I may be phlegm-ridden mess, but I don’t care.
