Madam President is the the generally accepted address if a woman ever becomes US President. Presumably she would be called that even if she was unmarried, because Miss President makes her sound like she’s Barbie.
I’ve never watched an episode of 24 but I know enough to get this. Basically Jack Bauer is a man who does so many illegal and unethical things to GET THE TERRORISTS. He’s been used as a defense for torture (I think even by Justice Scalia!). Course, I may be wrong about the character, but that’s the popular belief.
I’m glad this strip cleared up the confusion caused to me by having two cult-level TV series – neither of which I’ve ever watched – with major characters named “Jack” coming to an end within days of each other.

YESSSS! TGP IS BACK!
Yay TGP!
24: Best propaganda campaign to make torture acceptable to the American public ever!
decapitate ‘em until they talk!
Thank you, Francesco! You rock!
So this is where Jack runs to! Makes total sense.
The thing is that I’d rather have seen this than the real ending;) Well done.
TGP is married? Or does Jack know something we don’t?

I thought he’d only been working for 8 days.
I haven’t watched TV in about 6 years, and certainly never watched 24 or Lost. The latest strips are beyond my comprehension.
