I am not ashamed to say that I like M. Night Shyamalan.
His worst movie is about 50% better than my best would be, and his best movies (“The Sixth Sense” and “Unbreakable”) are really, really, reeeeaaallly good.
He just needs to learn to do more than one thing. Not every movie needs to have a crazy twist at the end…or his name plastered all over his work like some other directors *cough*cough*Speilburgh*cough*
That sure is a low bar, Michael Burton! “I like people who do a better job than I could.” After all, just because they are better at their chosen profession than you might be at their chosen profession doesn’t mean they’re very good at that chosen profession – just better than one who’s not IN that profession.
Can’t think of M. Night anymore without thinking of the scrubs scene where the Janitor relates bowling the other night with MMMM Night Shyamalan, and FFFFF Murray Abraham…so I says to mmm, ‘Mmmm….’

Actually, the one that sounds better is also the one that is grammatically correct: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/540/01/.
Of course, M. Night Shama-lama-ding-dong is definitely a douche either way.
Thanks for the link, Kryndis, this stuff drives me insane: I’m glad to have a reference!
Are there any directors that aren’t at least a little douchy?
By this, I’m guessing you’re not too enthusiastic about M Night’s “Last Airbender”, are you Ces?

There were some rumors a few months back about a sequel to Unbreakable, you know.
…but they couldn’t decide if the title was “Inflammable” or “Flammable”.
.
Damn you, grammar!
There were rumors about a sequel to Unbreakable that were being talked about when we walked out of the theater after watching it.

I have more respect for him than the “If you’re Korean, wear a kimono” casting douche.
Who might that be? *confused*
His movies started off well, but each one has been about thirty percent suckier than the previous one.
