    Does cannibalism make turkeys sleepy?

Or are they immune to the effects of tryptophan?

there is not that much tryptophan in a turkey, so it is the cannibalism.

Not only that, ianmorris, but L-Tryptophan only makes you sleepy if you take it on an empty stomach.

What really makes people drowsy is a combination of three things: eating a large meal (it diverts blood flow from the brain to the stomach), the spiked eggnog (or other booze) and boring relatives.

That said, the only question left is, “Does it taste like chicken?”

Reminds me of Pastis’ “But BLT’s are so darned tasty.”
