Robert Rodriguez’s Watership Down probably wouldn’t be notably gorier or darker than Martin Rosen’s.

OMG OMG OMG Just an hour or two ago I overheard one of my bosses describe one of her bosses as a bigwig and right away I was thinking about how much I love the battle scene from Watership Down* and how utterly badass Thlayli a.k.a. Bigwig is and here you are commemorating him! (Damn right I’m going to interpret that cool-as-ice bunny with the toothpick as Thlayli. I love that rabbit.)
Thanks, Ces, you just made my Easter!

*the book; I don’t know or care how it’s handled in the movie.

OMG. OMG. I just about choked to death with the “how Peeps are made.” That is fucking brilliant.

And now in stores, the “Eliahu Bunny” action figure…matzoh brei included.
    These are a riot!!

BTW, I never read Watership Down. Someone told me bunnies died and that was enough to stop me.
