At least that’s what we’re repeatedly told by gym commercials, online articles, TV shows, and friends who look at us and say, “I don’t know what the hell you were thinking in 2013 but you cannot repeat THAT again.” On the other hand, most New Year’s resolutions fail, making us feel even less accomplished and less sure of ourselves.
