You’re So Party, Let’s Go Dancey!

Posted in Uncategorized by cesco7 on February 8, 2014

This week Hil, Faye, and Nona’s band released its first single (having always been a werewolf-album-oriented group) called “You’re So Party, Let’s Go Dancey,” the new summer anthem for February. And to celebrate, Sally Forth artist Jim Keefe created the following “music video” gif, which clearly doubles as the pilot for their 1970’s Filmation-style Saturday morning cartoon series to appear between The Archie Show and The Brady Kids:danceyWhat I really like about this is how it captures everyone’s personality and feelings about the single. Faye looks like she’s in hell, Hil once again could not be happier with her own idea, and Nona gets through it all by simply disappearing into her own world. But will “You’re So Party, Let’s Go Dancey” top the Hot 100? Will you be singing it to yourself again and again despite the fact no one actually knows what it sounds like? Will it at least result in some extremely ephemeral merchandise? We’ll find out soon enough, but as this week’s strips show, the song already has one big fan.

I was sort of hoping to find a music video or mp3 of the song, like Evans did for Luann a couple times.

We are working on it. Just want to make it right (or wrong in the best way possible).
