A reader with the exact same name as “Dennis the Menace” calls me out for the horrible scourge on decent society that I am

Worst case of creeper projection I’ve ever seen. He obviously spends way too much time thinking about the sexual habits of 12-year-old comic strip characters. I’d love to see his opinions about Luann. Or heaven forbid, 9 Chickweed Lane.

Nice, an all-comic-strip letters page. But they misspelled “Schulz.”

Won’t someone think of the precious bodily fluids!

On the bright side, at least he’s generated a really compelling storyline for you as “Sally Forth” goes on to tackle issues like teen pregnancy with remarkable sensitivity.

Very glad he wasn’t one of my parents.

It’s readers like this that ensure the comics page is filled with third-gen-written strips that were popular when the Germans invaded Poland.

Knowing it’s horrible track record, Dennis insists that abstinence only education paradigms be expanded to all forms of media. Menace level: surprisingly high.

Good going! Keep up the good work!

So he thinks a thirteen year old boy is too old for a twelve year old girl? Or, conversely, that she’s too young for him? Does he KNOW any teenagers? I would be delighted if my thirteen year old son were dating a girl like Hilary.

I have a 14-year-old daughter. I’d love for her to be dating a fictional character like Jon.

Give her time. She may yet date fictional characters.

A surprising number of people are already dating fictional characters. You haven’t seen the parts of the internet I’ve seen. Google “waifu” or “husbando”.

I don’t see a problem with their relationship, but I watched smut like Boy Meets World.

Ypu’re all missing the point….Dennis the Menace is concerned that he will catch an STD from reading his paper. I thikn we should take up a collection to send him a jumbo sized box of latex gloves so he can continue reading Sally Forth safely.

You set such a poor example in comparison to Charles Schulz, though. Why can’t you come back to life, change your name slightly, and advocate for education/health care like him?

Hm, let’s see. Father still living his childhood, with no concept of reality? Fine.

Mother seems normal but has only one friend, bites the ears off her daughter’s chocolate bunnies, and is more worried about her job than her kid? Fine.

Kid organizes and runs a zombie rock band? Fine.

Kid takes walks with a boy her own age, and actually kisses him? OH NOES!

    Sounds legit.

    Oh, wow, they’re a year apart? That’s… that’s…

That’s just like my wife and I. I guess I’ll go get the divorce papers ready.

Yeah (Duluthian here) .. he and his wife have been at this sort of moral panic quite awhile:

Sorry – should have also added this link tot the last post: further evidence on the moral collapse of …. well… everything via the Mitchalls:

Look at the picture at the bottom of this article, from their 4th anniversary. That is NOT Dennis P. Mitchell, that is clearly Dennis’s neighbor and would-be pal George Wilson! Which explains everything!
