With none of my damn 400 words in the way Jim Keefe illustrates a thing of sublime beauty with an awkward yet bittersweet moment in his perfect second panel.

One more example of why I love what Jim Keefe is doing with the strip. Actually, the evolution of Sally Forth art is a pretty interesting study – what with Greg Howard not really being able to draw, and those weird, awkward figures and perspectives becoming the signature look. Craig Macintosh had the difficult task of radically improving the artwork without betraying the look – a really hard line to walk. But now it’s clear that Jim has been able to build on that and really free things up, open up lots of new “camera angles,” get into some genuine figure drawing. It’s a blast. Having a great time out here watching it happen.
