    I dunno about roaches . . . I thought water bears had a better shot at inheriting.

    What happened to God handing over control to cats? They’ll eat those roaches like croutons.

    Devil’s advocate, so as not to seem solely partisan, Cockroaches are greatly maligned, and are actually very clean animals: they groom each other fully whenever they return to the nest, and have an incredible immune system that kills almost all noxious bacteria and viruses. There is a theory that humanity MAY have survived via a symbiotic relationship with them, as they co-evolved along with us, with the role of cleaning our earliest dwellings of *harmful* vermin and filth. Sadly, with modern pesticides, illegal closings of polling stations in “ethnic areas”, and the Electoral College, Cockroaches can’t protect us from *all* vermin….
