“Spaceship Cannibal—A Detective Steve Mystery” by Ted Forth

Posted in Uncategorized by cesco7 on March 18, 2018

In the March 17th Sally Forth strip Ted Forth one again expressed his desire to write the Great American Novel…

Well, it’s been an entire day and Ted has not only completed his manuscript but also got it published, placed in bookstores, and ultimately dumped into remainder bins. Which means that now you can experience the true glory—or at least look at the approved cover—of his magnum opus (click on image to embiggen)…

This is also the book Ted referred to in the “Flashforward ten tears” storyline…

The back cover says this is “the fist novel in a series”. Isn’t that a completely different kind of genre?

Hahaha Yeah. It…it certainly sends Ted’s writing career in a different direction. (Seriously, I read that copy 40 times and I STILL missed that. Maybe a part of me had other ideas all along.)

In some ways it looks less like a book cover, and more like an Atari 2600 game wrapper.
