Sally Forth: And We Danced

For a certain generation (let’s call it “X”), one cannot think of the keyboard harmonica (melodica) without thinking of The Hooters. And if you’re like me, upon hearing The Hooters’ “And We Danced” in public one cannot help but have an immediate Pavlovian response to sing along none too quietly, like say at a restaurant in mid-conversation on a date. So let’s celebrate both my social awkwardness and the 80s by watching the one music video in which someone almost dies in the trunk of a car as all together we say, “I met my be-bop baby at the Union Hall/She could dance all night and shake the paint off the wall”…
