Merry Christmas Eve Eve (and Happy Birthday, Mom!) from “Sally Forth”
Back in December 25, 1977 my brother and I received one of our very best Christmas gifts ever, delivered via St. Nick to our grandparents’ house on Staten Island—the original Atari VCS (Video Computer System, before it was renamed the 2600), which Dad had read about months earlier and which my dad and I proceeded to play one of his favorite games—Combat—for years after that.

And so on this Very Merry Christmas Eve Eve and Happy Festivus, I take this moment to also wish a Very Happy Birthday to my Mom, who gets her own present under the tree:
Happy Holidays to you and yours—Ces
