19 Questionable Compilation Albums
Compilation albums were created for people who like a particular type of music but don’t particularly care for more than one song by any one artist. It’s like a Whitman’s Sampler, where you can check out the track listing to see if you’re going to wind up with a box of lemon-filled chocolates. The result has been such long-running series as Now That’s What I Call Music, Jock Jams, and this collection of inexplicable compilation albums that I put together for your next worst listening party. Enjoy!
I’ll Be at CatCon LA!
Li’l Bub! Simon’s Cat! Lorenzo the Cat! Henri, Le Chat Noir! Cats of Instagram! Cheezburger! Text from Mittens! Some guy with 142 vowels in his name who helps pets write poetry and then takes their royalties. We’ll all be at CatCon LA, a two-day event in Los Angeles celebrating everything feline (unless the “Cat” proves short for “Caterpillar Lift Trucks”) this June 6th and 7th. And if I can somehow stand in front of a group of people and make a hopefully comedic presentation then you can get tickets right here!
Hope to see you there!
