Please, please oh please don’t forget to Vote Medium Large for 2008 Weblog Awards Best Comic Strip every 24 hours until January 13th because, yes, I’m that needy for public approval.

And in honor of my fellow award nominee Garfield Minus Garfield, here’s Sally Forth Minus Sally Forth:
sfminussf

And, of course, Family Circus Minus God:
family-circus-minus
And vote every day for The Comics Curmudgeon for Best Humor Blog!

And since this site has been fortunate enough to have a whole slew of new visitors I present, once again, Medium Large’s first video, What Is Comedy?:

Both “minus” strips are awesome. Y’know, if one were so inclined one could see the second strip as “Family Circus Minus Everyone *But* God.”

Seeing as the circle is a symbol of God – indeed. Could well be what you said Michael!

See, Ces, this is where you went wrong.

Had you simply spent all your energy all this time on “Sally Forth Minus Sally Forth,” you’d be winning awards, acclaim, 2nd place in 2008 Weblog Awards, quite possibly the 2009 Eisner, and a winking nod from the writer of Sally Forth himself.

Which, admittedly, would look really weird ‘cuz that’s you.

    I dunno…the rickrolling strip was funnier. 🙂

that video is hilarious. as is the sally forth minus sally forth… but don’t let the idea get around, or else there will be pressure to kill off your main character.

the big questions will then be: will they rename the strip “Ted Forth”? will it go on being called “Sally Forth” even though there is no such named character (thus confusing new readers)?

make more videos, if your busy schedule allows!

One of your best efforts, Ces. You really want that just-shy-of-third place, don’t you?

Honey vanilla white chai? What a nellie! Real men order peppermint lattes.

Ted’s been sleeping in the Kenny Roger’s Roasters apartment…

I somehow switched my voting window from the day shift to the swing shift. I don’t know how this happened. Is it possible Medium Large is even funnier when you’re in a bedtime induced delirium?…

Yeah, I think that’s Family Circus plus God, because he finally smited them all and ended their existence.

Well, “Garfield Minus Garfield” isn’t called “Jon Arbuckle,” is it?

    Haha, penis.

Ted is so damn particular about letting tea steep for three minutes (I think it was mentioned before somewhere)

It’s pretty dang weird to do a webcomic parody of your own strip, Ces. That’s almost the joke itself.
