Wonderful callback to Joker’s Asylum: The Joker!
Done quite recently in fact, in Joker’s Asylum Issue 1. True, nobody died, but the Joker’s moral was essentially the same.
Coincidence? Or cribbing?
I actually rarely read comic books (more a novel and comic strip anthology man myself) so I’ve never seen or even heard of this issue. So I would certainly have to say a coincidence.
